Do you know how many web leads you are generating with Yahoo?
I wonder if anyone who has had a site around longer can provide stats on Yahoo vs Google. It is my opinion that Yahoo seems to be providing better results for real estate searches. If you type in the keyword Maui Real Esate for Yahoo, the first couple of pages are almost exclusively realtors. The first few pages for Google has realtors, directories, realty magazines and other sites that do not seem to have as much relevance. If you really start searching beyond the first page, you see the relevance of some of the sites go out the door. News articles on Maui start to appear, random sites with reciprocal links to Maui sites start to appear. Conversely, Yahoo stays the course with mostly relevant realtor and real estate directory listings. I wonder if and when the function of yahoo for our search terms will start to overcome the buzz of Google? As an aside, that is certainly a nice testimonial for Seo guy. I am in the process of hiring professional SEO help myself, and your words are certainly a positive in his favor.

Yahoo must have updated sunday i had good listings on a new site then was dropped monday looks like. Yahoo reminds me of the old google.
About SEO Guy, personaly as someone that loves to debunk other Internet Pros I would say he really knows what he is doing. Looking at his stuff he has got a very good base of sites ( which is the most important part) the actual seoing of a web page is not that hard. Having that good base ( IMO is a lot harder) does allow him almost to guarantee some good results. |

To true savvy, its all about building relationships in this business. Anyone can screw with their onpage copy until its perfect, or shoot even fluke out, but when you have access to literally hundreds of thousands of websites at the drop of a hat because you travel in the right circles, it makes you a more valuable commodity and also increases your chances of succes as you say. But even I dont guarantee results thats just foolish, but I do rank #1 in yahoo for SEO WEEEEEEEEEEEE so id have to agree on the yahoo being better then google lol On google Im outranked by this http://www.shinobi.jp/ go figure, I think googles relevance algo took a big bd turn for the toilet last summer and propogated its terribilocity <<<just made that up all throughout florida, brandy etc. Its still not to hard to rank, but the reasons why make less and less sense

its good to see what people talked about back then!!By the way, i think this guy was telling a pack of lies; he says the domain was bought march 12th, he posted april 10th, how could you get pr 6 in one month? plus that many links in such a short time would probably get you in the sandbox. unless he bought an old domain, which he doesn't mention.. |
