Default Blogs and point2

I use point2 for my website and blogger for my blog. Both have been doing great lately. I too wanted to be able to have a blog within my site and point2 just announced that they are integrating that into their templates. My existing blog is PR5 and drives a lot of traffic. I've framed my blog into my site with a block of content above the frame to make the page seo friendly. Any advice as to whether I should start blogging within my site vs. what I'm doing now?

I use blogger to publish to my own site but I can't tell you if it makes any difference or not.

I like not having the Blogger ads and blogger bar at the top of my page. My
Rehoboth Beach Mobile Home Blog

It's nothing special but it somehow grabbed a PR5 pretty quickly.

If I had more time I'd make it a whole lot better looking but Time is one thing I don't have much of these days.

Hmmmm, great question. It would be difficult to lose your current standings with your blog as a standalone framed into your P2 site if you decide to dump it. However, having the blog as part of your site will be a great way to keep adding fresh content to your site as a whole.

Even though I finally got all of my pages back in the index for my stand-alone Oak Lawn blog I am going to continue with an on-site blog that REW recently created for me. There's a reason for it, though. My Oak Lawn site is a smaller, niche area site. The only fresh content I would be adding would mainly be listings. By using an on-site blog will give me the chance to keep adding fresh content to this site that would be otherwise difficult to do.

As my current Oak Lawn blog's domain has been registered for a long time, I'll keep it around but have a link to the new Oak Lawn blog. I'll see what happens just letting it sit around without adding any new content.
