Default Re-Map.com

Saw how much interest Zillow was generating here so thought I'd put out my website www.Re-Map.com.

Zillow gives you comps for homes but we have a database of 60,000 zip codes for towns across the US and have the average monthly sales data and volume of home sales per zip. We give you the tools to search through that data to find the places where the average home sales and number of homes sold are still going up. I figure investors need tools to find where to put their money.

Please check it out and give me any feedback you can on how to make it easier to use or any gripes you might have.

Thanks

I'm not a fan of the all caps copy that is on your homepage, and the yellow was a bit distracting. Can you take a test drive without having to "register"...make it a easy on us to give a quick review...?

Thanks for the feedback, I'll look into changing around the colors. How was the functionality? Did you do any searches? How difficult was it for you to use the search tools and how could we make them easier to use? What did you think of the graphs?

As for getting a free spin without registering... I look at it as you're getting a free spin and all you have to do is register. 8) We aren't doing anything with the data and if you like the tools it will make it that much easier for you get in once we start charging. For now if anything asks you for a credit card just put in bogus numbers and it should just let you go in.

And thanks for your comments, they really are helping. If anybody else has anything to contribute I would appreciate it.

Thanks

Make the registration page shorter with less required fields. Phone number or fax number? forget it.

The data for MN seems incomplete. The graphs looked somewhat interesting but I would say you need to have a baseline to compare against for it to be valuable. Try statewide, nationwide, or compare to close cities.
