No response from Yahoo so far but I'm right back at #2 as of a few minutes ago. I know better than to get to excited though. Maybe my e-mail did the trick
(not).I was just concerned after reading another thread that I may have also been banned for some reason but it looks like I'm OK. Thanks for the replies! |

it certainly wasnt your email, its jsut normal Yahoo flux, its a good thing though it means you are showing positive movement and it may likely stick.
Care to share with the group your changes?

Prior to that I was on the second page. Not much of a jump, but steadily going up on yahoo. I have optimized my site using the SEO-Guy SEO Tutorial (great lesson on SEO) but yahoo hasn't cached it since I've made my site changes. I bet once it get's cached it will go even higher thanks to Morgan and all the people on this forum's knowledge. Kyle Hogan ![]() |

I'm happy to say that I've not only made it back on the first page of Yahoo but I've been at #1 for a week now. My search term "Southwest Orlando Real Estate" is not nearly as competitive as "Orlando Real Estate". But I'd rather have 10 leads a month that know exactly what they are looking for and see that I cater especially to their needs than getting 100 leads a month that don't know anything about Orlando and see me and my site as just one of thousands of others targeting the Greater Orlando market. While its only in theory, I just think my conversion rate (and subsequently my bottom line) would increase tremendously. And that's why we're in business right?
As far as changes that I made, basically I just followed SEO Jason's script for Yahoo which was posted on another thread. Literally the next day... bang... first page of Yahoo. Thanks Jason. |
