Default What to do? buying vacant land in GA

Im buying a vacant lot in Georgia.
I have always purchased homes with a closing and all that.
What should I do to purchased this vacant land?
The owner wants cash.

I really dont trust them becasue they are trying to squeeze me for more money after we made a verbal agreement.

I informed them that they arent under a legal obligation to me but are certainly under a moral obligation. What they wee doing was just plain wrong.

It appears that they are going to honor the verbal agreement but I am worried that they are looking for a way out.

I need help really bad.

How can I make this transaction legal with both owners names on it?

You don't mention whether you are working with or are a professional. I assume no to both.

Therefore, I suggest you either: work with a real estate agent or hire an attorney.

IMO there are too many risks conducting RE transactions without a professional. Sure, sometimes you get lucky and they work. But if you are not experienced at conducting RE business more oft than not you will find yourself in quite a bind.

Good luck.
