best real estate directories to submit to

Hey Guys as per matts suggestion we are compiling a list of what members feel to be the best real estate directories and perhaps why. We can chat pro's and con's about paid vs non paid your experience with them etc

I'll go first - www.relo-experts.com the owner and I have had our moments but the fact is if you are a new realtor and want to get some web exposure fast it will get ranked for your area much faster then a brand new site, the fees arent that out of range so I think worth submitting (I think they have a free version to, but I hate giving index page links to directories I think it looks tacky with 100 icons smeared on the bottom of your page)

I read this last Friday about getting exposure fast because of my directory so I thought I would put what you said to the test. I knew you have had a couple of pages up for some time for your home town (Nanaimo) and that you are seeking an agent for that area. Those pages are not doing too bad on G, but I wanted to push the issue in your behalf and see what I might be able to do help your cause and maybe help you get that client you are wanting:

I have had Nanaimo page "buried" for sometime in the directory, but I decided to create a new one and link it from the home page of the directory to see what would happen just like what you have done for your Nanaimo page that is linked from the home page here. Lo and behold you were right about the directory getting rankings quickly. Today on G (at least from my end) if you search for "nanaimo real estate agent" the directory is now #1 and I would have to think once the new page has been reindexed it likely will replace the home page in SERP's. As for the term "nanaimo real estate" the directory has come out the door at #9 on G and I would believe that might go up also with the new page. In both cases these outrank your pages which proves what you said about me being able to get good rankings and quickly.

Since I already have Nanaimo ranked maybe this will help you get an agent for that town who is willing to pay you $500-$3000 per month or whatever you charge and we can just plug them in into the directory to "subsidize" the rankings until you get them rankings through your efforts. This could be a WIN/WIN/WIN situation for you, your client, and me. BTW, that page in directory would cost your client a little over $8 per month (just like all of my featured agents pages) Just let me know. ;-)
