Default Please review my mortgage site.

I am working on a new design pure CSS and valid xhml.

I would appreciate if you see any issues with the code displaying propertly.

I have tested the design in IE 6, Opera & Firefox.

Have you considered moving your Nav bar to an off page java script file?

O Group,

I have no java. The page is pure CSS and xhtml. Why did you think java was envolved?

I didn't mean you have java, If you move the nav bar of page your title then will rise to the top of the code unobstructed by the nav bar.

Not a big deal, just an idea.

The page was down. 1:53. p.m. 11/18/04
Ok, now it's up. Must have been a glitch.

I took a look in Netscape, Firefox, IE6 and Opera. That page displayed the same across all browsers.

Just a few notes about coding:

Your metas should be in all capital letters (a little something I picked up by lurking in SEO forums) By having your meta keywords all in caps then when some one types in MORTGAGES or mortgages, YOUR site will have been indexed. However, if you have the word in lowercase and the search term is in all caps you won't come up.

You have foreclosures spelled wrong in your meta keywords

I'm not seeing your bot codes. You need invite the bots to come back 7 to 30 days is standard.

Also, your main index looks VERY different from your other pages. I would suggest standardizing the look, feel, and colors. When I went to an internal page, I thought that I had left your site. Speaking of color- have you thought about adding some others?

Now, I don't know that much about mortgages, but it seems like you offer quality information. Your site (except for what I've listed) is easy to use and looks clear (I use firefox.)

Seems like you're on the right track!

It is my understanding that "case" of the "meta values" doesn't matter.

Perhaps it only matters for some engines. Meta keywords are on their way out, but they do still carry importance.

Are you willing to chance it?

It is my understanding that none of the major search engines are "Case Sensitive/Specific" in relation to meta values.

Out of curiosity I took a look at the site in your signature and to my suprise you are not following your own advice. In fact, your meta value for "Keywords" is empty. What am I missing?

Thanks for taking a look. I don't optimize pages that I end up excluding from the engines.
