8 Fredrik sites to explore when planning a real estate website
It's no secret that The Fredrik was built for the endlessly stylish and fabulous Fredrik Eklund to complement his personal style and show off his multimillion dollar listings. But we also wanted to build a website that was flexible, could share the dazzling personality of any agent or brokerage, and looked mint on mobile devices.
In this post, we're showcasing 8 websites that started with The Fredrik website and transformed it into something that is truly their own. Let's take a look!
Featuring homes in Boulder and Denver, this Fredrik website takes full advantage of the local beauty and shows it off with stunning imagery on the home page. A breathtaking slideshow is followed by gorgeous calls-to-action and high quality featured listings. This highly visual approach to showing off Denver is carried through to each of the neighborhood pages, which take full advantage of the featured community module's photo gallery and real estate stats.
Just try not to fall in love with Florida as you browse this site, which has been meticulously updated by Agency 239 without using custom work. Instead, the site utilizes intermediate-level HTML, colorful images, white text overlays, and a keen eye to create a professional masterpiece. Be sure to take a look at the Open Houses and VIP Buyer pages... This is also a great site to explore on high-res devices with retina display, like the iMac Pro.
Summit Sotheby's International Realty instantly teleports you into ski town living, using gorgeous photography. After visitors view the breathtaking homepage banner and featured developments, they scroll down to see a thoughtfully placed featured communities section and a map of the local area. EnjoyParkCity.com also takes full advantage of the CRM's blog, sharing exceptional properties, local amenities, upcoming events, and more. If you're looking for excellent execution of a niche real estate site, search no further.
Wow! What a beautiful site. DaytonaLuxuryRealEstate.com does a phenomenal job of keeping the Fredrik website simple and free of text, letting their high-value homes stand at the forefront of every page. Check out the community and lifestyles pages, for example, where the under-utilized "list view" display makes property photos three times larger than the default "thumbnail view."
The Fredrik is transformed by the video on SlatePropertiesDC.com, which demonstrates how a small custom project can have a big impact. This video element also carries through to several of the community pages, where embedded videos share even more of the DC culture. Check out Dupont Circle, for example. In addition, Slate's website also does a great job of showing off the developments—a feature unique to The Fredrik design—and adding additional information that visitors are likely to find beneficial.
AffinityGroupPinnacle.ca is another highly visual Fredrik website, which utilizes the homepage slideshow, featured listings, and featured agents to set a professional and engaging tone for the site. This site also does a great job of promoting their open houses, putting all the information in one place and using a contest to incentivize people to show up.
What is it about Park City that inspires phenomenal real estate websites? (Oh right..!) OsirisCabral.com is yet another beauty focusing on luxurious ski properties and cozy mountain homes. Their Ski Properties page is a great example of a well-balanced page, mixing a striking intro photo, paragraphs of text, statistics, and gorgeous property listings. We also love how this site shows the other side of Park City: sunny and summery, with excellent golf.
The visual consistency of this site is excellent, creating a cohesive and professional experience for online visitors. The whole site seems to be inspired by the Moab Valley, from the awe-inducing canyon home page to the About Us page with red rock backdrops for the agent photos. As a result, the site is simple, beautiful, and highly effective.
