Getting to Know Gary Ashton
Gary Ashton is the founder of The Ashton Real Estate Group of RE/MAX Advantage—the #1 RE/MAX team in Tennessee, the U.S., and even globally. Having more than 20 years of experience in real estate, Gary has successfully built a legendary reputation. He has consistently been part of the top 1% of REALTORS, and The Ashton Real Estate Group is the official real estate team for the NHL's Nashville Predators.
In 2004, Gary made a big decision to focus on his online presence and innovating his marketing strategies. That move brought him to Real Estate Webmasters, resulting in a partnership that further fueled each party's growth. Over the years, we've visited each others' headquarters (ours on Vancouver Island, and Gary in Nashville) to collaborate on new ideas and projects.
Gary was also a speaker and co-host at the 2024 REW Summit in Nashville, and today he's one of our incredible product advisors. His experience, insight, and skills are invaluable and we can't wait to show you the results of this partnership.

New REW CRM Innovations
Last month, we released a couple of powerful product updates, including Pinned Notes on REW CRM. Guess who inspired this new feature? (drum roll)...Yes, Gary Ashton! Pinned Notes allows users to permanently place important notes on top of the CRM’s Notes section. This gives agents more control in organizing their notes, and ensures no critical information is accidentally buried.

Aside from Pinned Notes, Gary’s insight led us to start developing a Lead Stage Manager on REW CRM. We understand the need for flexibility when it comes to labelling leads so you can accurately record your lead’s stage. This feature is currently in our roadmap and under development, so stay tuned for its release this winter!

Our next REW CRM update is launching this winter! Aside from the Lead Stage Manager, we’re also releasing the next phase of our AI dialer update, the AI Call Grading and Coaching feature, as well as other powerful tools like Email Metrics and Campaigns Redesign, Presentation Mode, and Open Houses.
