Terms of this promotion:

  • First come first served (as always) once December's production schedule is sold out the promo will end.
  • You must have your invoice "paid" in order to reserve your spot in the production queue
  • You must have any outstanding invoices / balances paid prior to purchasing promotional items
  • Promo offer is valid for "new" work orders (cannot be retroactively applied to any current orders)
  • Standard hosting fees apply for REW websites / IDX

Our goal is to sell out our "product" side of production within 5 business days (Friday, November 21st)

Lead time - For the "product" side of our production line (as opposed to the customizations team) lead time is currently excellent, however the queue should fill up fast. At the very best you will have your products installed (if you order early) within 5 business days - if you are the last person to order before the promo is sold out, expect to wait until the end of December for delivery - moral of the story, get your orders in early if you want your fancy toys before Christmas.

Important! How to place your order:

Promotions always get very busy and it is very important for us to be able to stay organized in order to process your requests and get them in the queue in a timely manner. Thus I would request the following:

If you are assigned to me as your rep, please post your requests or questions here at the blog in the comments section below this post. These offerings are all standardized website products or upgrades thus the "what is product x and what does it do" answers will be the same for everyone, so it will help all of us save time if you could please ask those questions and place your order here.

If you are assigned to another rep other than myself, I do encourage you to contact your rep directly to place your order.

To make it even easier - if you already know exactly what you want from this list - I have had an order form built for you to place your order. Simply fill out your information (don't foget your physical address needs to match the address of the CC on file) select what you want to order from the check boxes and hit submit. You can find that order form here.

I want 3 Control Panels, If this is teh same thing that Drew has on his site. Please send me the bill

Morgan Carey

All of your leads funnel into one lead manager do they not? If this is the case, you actually might not be able to have 3 out of the box control panels installed as your configuration is custom, I will check with programming to investigate the viability of your request.

If they say it's not an issue then you can be the first "official" promo customer in the queue.

Thanks for your interest :)

OCTeam

Order form is great. You may want to add a comments section as I did not find a couple of items listed.

Morgan Carey

OCteam,
Just sent your request over to billing to be processed on Monday, thank you very much for your order. As for what was not on the form, I will update that - (I added some after I built the form) what else did you want on top of what you submitted?

OCTeam

Actually, it can wait. I wanted the new Control Panel for LocalTeam, but think it can wait until we see how the new upgrades on HT work. Then we can copy the same upgrade items over to LocalTeam and to the LEC site so they all work the same. Heck, I need to get some leads from the LocalTeam site first..LOL! The LEC is the priority now. Have a nice weekend.

Joshua Keen

Just placed my order.

Out of curiosity, what's the REW 2.0 blog?

Morgan Carey

Hey guys, just a quick note - I have gotten a few emails / PM's regarding this promotion and work already in the queue. This promotion (as with all promotions) apply to "new work orders only" - Please see the "Terms of this promotion" section

Promo offer is valid for "new" work orders (cannot be retroactively applied to any current orders)

If you would like to place "additional" orders for any of these items, by all means do so (we would love to see you take advantage of this amazing offer) but it does not apply to anything that has been ordered in the past.

Thanks

Joshua Keen

Here's my request:

1. 2 blogs (if RealSourceBrokers.com does not have the REW 2.0 blog and one for the current DEV template site we're working on)

2. 2 RSS Snippet Readers (one for both sites - realsourcebrokers.com and dev template site)

3. 1 Google Directions (RealSourceBrokers.com)

4. 1 Suckerfish Drop Down (dev template)

MARK Z

Morgan,

In regards to the LEC 1 and LEC 2 which of those IDX Enhancements listed above are already included in those IDX's on those custom sites?

Jennifer Mackay

I'd like to upgrade the jennifermackay site with a new template style.

What do I need to do?

Thanks

Jennifer Mackay

Forgot to mention I'd to add these 2 items:

Suckerfish dropdowns (search engine friendly)

Featured areas callout

But not sure what they look like, is there a link to these features somewhere?

Thanks :)

MARK Z

What does the RSS Reader snipet look like that you are talking about under the blogs? Is it different than what I already have?

bryan provenzano

Hello,

I'm interested in ordering a site but I'm confused about some of the add-ons. Is there a page that explains them and their advantages?

Paul Caparas

Another great promo! Morgan, I think you are my rep so I would like to get the New REW 2.0 Blog and upgrade my Template to the New style Template!!! Also I have a few questions about the other products, what is the Suckerfish dropdowns, Featured areas callout and RSS Reader Snippet for? Thanks!

Greg Haraksin

Morgan.

is this 2.0 blog the 'built in' one you suggested for me? I already have an REW blog. where would you put the quick search on my site?

OCTeam

Mark, the only thing you would probably need to add would be G street view and XML listing site map.

Here is what is included http://www.realestatewebmasters.com/lec/lec-2.php

I already have 2-custom sites and based on my experience, a LEC at this price is a smoking deal based on all the included features. If I were to just update my original IDX program to current design, update so I have a CMS2 and add the Control Panel (a must have for my team now), it would be almost the cost of one of the LEC's. IMO, a no-brainer for what you get.

Greg Haraksin

if someone wanted to change templates, what happens to any custom work done on old template. how does everything get changed over?

MARK Z

Morgan,

I think one addition that would be very popular to your list would be:

Making a current REW template and Blog go wide(switch over to the wider look)

Can we get a 50% discount on that? What would it be? I think there are quite a few who would take advantage of that. Just an idea

Paula Henry

Hi Morgan -

I just sent you an email - I know I want to add some of these, just not sure what each of them do.

Dena Davis

Hmm. I would be interested in a wider template too. Wait Marc-- did you see the new wider template on the website review. That is pretty cool.

Morgan Carey

@Joshua Keen: REW 2.0 Blog is a newer version of our blogging technology that we just launched with LEC 2 (It's included) - we have gone to a completely integrated backend system (no more logging into a separate blog manager to post, you can do it right through the REW 2.0 CMS)

It has a completely re-designed UI and some additional features such as pingbacks and there some other differences & upgrades that I can't think of off the top of my head.

Dena Davis

Morgan can you give us a link to the featured area call out?

Morgan Carey

@Joshua Keen: Items #1, #2, #3 and #4 confirmed (which template are we talking about? feel free to email or PM if it's private) as for #1 - no you do not have 2.0 blog, please be advised URL structure is different, do you have many backlinks to your blog posts? If so you might want to consider the 301 redirect module (Which I of course forgot to add to the list, will fix that, it's $100 and very cool (has other benefits I will post in a few minutes about)

Morgan Carey

@MarkZ - The following are "not" included in the LEC 1 or 2. XML / Html site mapping, Google Streetview, Google directions, Microsoft birds eye, featured callout.

Also, suckerfish dropdowns, control panel, and featured areas callout are only included in LEC 2, they are not included in LEC 1.

Morgan Carey

@Jennifer Mackay: The template transition (new template design, header modifications, slideshow photos and standard template process is included in the $399 - what is not included (and would require additional labor at standard hourly rates) is the re-implentation / customization of elements that you have custom on your current template that would need to be moved over.

Example #1 - Your featured listings module, you would not have to pay for the programming etc again, but you would likely want the skin modified to match the new color scheme / look you pick, estimate 15-30 mins design time.

Example #2 - IDX, once again you don't need to re-order, or change the IDX programming in any way, it just moves right over (assuming you have CMS 2.0 already which I am quite sure that you do) but again you might want to have your skin (colors etc) slightly adjusted on your IDX (although you certainly don't have to, especially with yours as it is pretty much CORE) - I would recommend moving your quick search into the top right or left (beside the slideshow) if you are picking one of the new templates, estimate .5-1.5 hours

I really don't know what other customizations you have, so you would have to let me know if I missed anything so I could estimate it for you. Thanks :)

Morgan Carey

@Jennifer Mackay: Suckerfish got it, featurd areas callout example? Sure - Go to http://www.jimolenbush.com and look on his homepage - that "browse austin communities" div with a stylized bg, DT headline and 3 columns, colored to match your site. You can basically use the markup as a snippet in lots of different ways (it would do a nice job replacing that price table you have on your site currently) - It's a pretty common element, you will see us use a lot on custom sites and SEO jobs, really helps break up the content and orgnize links - Cal Carter uses them like crazy on his site http://www.gulfshoreslife.com/fort-morgan-real-estate.php as an example.

Morgan Carey

@Markz - I see you have the old style blog, but I don't see the RSS reader anywhere. It's basically a snippet that allows you to embed the RSS from your blog categories directly into your content pages for additional internal link popularity. Again (was already open) check out http://www.jimolenbush.com down at the bottom under his "Austin Real Estate News" - Headline, some text from the post and a "read more" - Jim's is a little bit different than the default simply because he has a mutli user blog whereas you would have "by Mark z" because everything on your blog is By Mark Z :)

Morgan Carey

@Bryan Provenzano - Yes there is a page that explains most of the common upgrades (well it's a section with several pages actually) http://www.realestatewebmasters.com/upgrades/ is where you can read about them - if you have specific questions, by all means ask right here in the blog comment area, I would be happy to assist you.

The Koitz Group

Hey Morgan:

Thinking of including "CTA graphics" into the mix?

Thanks,

- Kevin

Morgan Carey

@Paul Caparas: (not sure if I am your rep, but either way I am happy to assist you) - You are looking to replace http://www.paulcaparas.com with a newer style template and install a built in REW 2.0 blog, is this correct? Not a problem, I would be happy to submit this for you.

As for your other questions, featured areas callout and RSS snippet I just defined above for another user, the suckerfish dropdowns are dropdowns (search engine spiderable) that implement and style for you to be applied via the CMS to your main navigation. Check out Mark Z's template (he has posted a few times in this thread) his URL is http://www.markzproperties.com - mouse over foreclosures or something in the top nav bar to see what the feature does / looks like.

Morgan Carey

@Greg Haraksin: Yes the REW 2.0 blog is what I had suggested for you. You do not technically "have" an REW Blog (at least not one built into your site) you have an "account" here at Real Estate Webmasters community blogging platform, similar technologies, however one is on our site, and one is on yours - you want a blog on "your" website, so you can start building a readership and your own authority.

Morgan Carey

@Greg Haraksin: Custom work - if it is programming and you are just switching templates typically there is "some" minor skinning or color changes required (see my response to Jennifer Mackay) - however if they are complete custom graphics, and you are changing sites, you are probably going to want to update the graphics or they will look funny in a completely different website. Basically what it comes down to, is that the work (generally) to move customizations over is a fraction of what it took to implement it, but it does take "some" additional time, and that time is just billed labor.

Paul Caparas

Hey Morgan, Abe used to be my rep but I think he is gone so I didn't know who to ask so I just ask you. Anyways, yes it is for www.paulcaparas.com. Also I was reading all the responses and for the Template transition, do you think I have to pay any additional labor like Jennifer Mackay may have to? One of the main reasons I want to upgrade my Template is I like the new design and want to go wide now. Let me know what you think. Also I want to add the RSS Reader Snippet to my order. Thanks!

tedsoldit

Hey Morgan

This is some exciting news and want to take advantage of this.I want to order the following 1. RSS feeder 2. Feature listing 3. Feature area call out 4. Microforst birds eye 5. Widen my site (Tedsoldit)

I think someone is working on getting me a price for site widening

Can you let me know what is advanced XML sitemapping

Thanks again

Ted Guarnero

Greg Haraksin

i'm going to order up some things. I really like your new tremplate 5, but i also like the template i am using, and will await to see how / if you respond to MarkZ about going wide. i might want to do that.

the quick search sounds interesting. for the most part i need to keep it simple.

SVRPaul

I want it ALL!!!

But... I'm only placing an order for the IDX Quick Search feature for LasVegasRealEstateHome.com for right now.

I'm assuming this is the feature for the home page that goes on the left nav?

Thanks!

SVRPaul

Aw shucks.. you talked me into it.. I'll take a Featured Listing Module also...

Calum

What is the Control Panel?

2paula

I want the Quick Search feature...but I want it to go on the RIGHT of my slide show (the main navigation is on the left, I want to essentially make the slide show smaller stgeorgeUTproperty site). Is this an option or does the Quick Search have to go in a particular place? If I can do this...put me down for that as well as the Blog Reader snippet

hien

Hey Morgan

Can we take advantage of this for our project?

Thanks

Judi Allen

Just placed an order for quick search do I have a say in where it will go on my site?

Thanks

Judi

CherryCreekPro

Hi Morgan:

Please hook me up with the following for my dev184 site:

1. Google Streetview enhancement (IDX tab) - promo rate $250
2. Google directions enhancement (IDX tab) - promo rate $150
3. Microsoft birds eye view (IDX tab) - promo rate $150
4. Control Panel - promo rate $500
5. Suckerfish dropdowns - promo rate $150
6. Featured areas callout - promo rate $150*

*Can I use this towards an enhanced LEC1 callout?

Can you think of anything else I could use with my LEC1?

Thanks!

Brian

Carolyn Gjerde-Tu

Hey, I'd like the template change out & associated work order started for discover davis homes. I'd also like to get the control pannel. I'm also wondering if I need the rss reader snippet, is this what is going to feed the web 2.0 footer links in the new template?

Buddy Blake

I want one of the LEC2 sites to replace my http://www.buddyblake.com site. I am also interested in the following upgrades:

(1) I would like to have an option (via a seperate form) to "Make An Online Offer Now"... we've used this on some new home sites and have had a number of folks actually fill it out... here is an example: http://www.quickmoveinhomes.com/MakeOffer.aspx?inventoryid=1979&return=http%3a%2f%2fwww.quickmoveinhomes.com%2fhomedetails.aspx%3finventoryid%3d1979

(2) Need a great form/headline for my Guaranteed Sale program which is basically a home value form...

(3) One of our most selected / popular forms conversions is for "Bank Owned, Foreclosure Sales and Short sales.. which is bascially a glorified home value report.

(4) need to pass all forms data to top producer

(5) need free moving truck page / form to reserve ( a interactive real-time calendard would be cool too... not just for marketing but actually keeping up with scheduling online

(6) love all the quick searches / stats etc on the http://www.luxurysarasotarealestate.com/ site

(7) would love SMS and email messaging for all new leads to scheduled buyer and/or seller agents.

(8) Need to be able to add various pages / market stats tables on the fly....

(9) drip email and blast campaigns with import/export capability

and anything else we can think of to be really "out of the box"...

thanks

buddy

Hey Morgan -

1. Any chance of including custom "Call To Action Graphics" to the promo?

http ://www.realestatewebmasters.com/upgrades/design-enhancements.php

2. Example of Google directions in action?

Thank you...K

Morgan -

I just submitted two orders, one for the LEC and one for my old site. I also want to add a control panel for my old site but it was not on the order form. Thanks.

Nancy Comenitz

Hi Morgan,

Am I to assume that a Custom I website with a quick search, street view, bird's eye, blog and control panel will cost me roughly $6,200.00 or do I have to figure in many other expenses switching from"Advanced Access"? I did not read all the above posts.

Nancy

Morgan Carey

Ok guys, got quite a few replies to get to this morning, just going to make sure I have sent over any approved orders first and then I will start posting and answering additional questions.

For those of you who asked about "custom" sites, our custom departments are not applicable to this promo as it is products only, however we would be happy to provide you with an estimate for custom development at standard hourly rates. What I would need from you if I am your assigned rep is a detailed RFP (request for proposal) and if you are going truly custom (custom site / custom IDX at the average level of our portfolio, you should probably ensure you have a budget of $10,000-$15,000 USD for development (100-150 hours combined design and programming) - if that is not within your budget at this time, I would strongly suggest you consider the LEC product as they are much higher end than what you would get (in terms of levels of complexity) even with the average custom budget.

Joshua Sloan

Can I use this promo to make the changes on my IDX detail pages, print flyer page and registration page that I've been wanting to do?

loudog

Morgan . . . I am too late? I just submitted an order using your form for an REW blog and RSS. Please let me know if I am approved. Thanks bud.

TheRealOBX

Morgan,

I can see by the number of responses you must be quite busy. I placed an order using the form on Sunday. If someone could send me confirmation, whenever you get a chance that would be great.

Kevin

Joshua Sloan

What are these items, is there somewhere I can see examples?

- Advanced XML / Html listings sitemapping

- Control Panel

- Suckerfish dropdowns

- Featured areas callout

mike Pannell

I havent Heard Yet, I am fixing to send over $1500 dollars for 3 control panels. I really want them. i want to get them while they are half off.

lesende

Hi Morgan,

I would like to place an order for the RSS Reader Snippet. Thanks

Hector

jolenta

Hi Ryland,

Wow, I can't believe I'm finally pulling the trigger!! I'd like to place an order for LEC2 with Google Streetmaps, Google Directions and Sitemapping. I also need a logo/graphic for the site. Can your team handle that too? I've got a pretty concrete idea of what I want. Yippee, this is exciting!

Jolenta

MARK Z

Morgan,

Any chance that there will be an addition to go from a normal size template and blog to the wide template and blog? I think there is quite a few people waiting to jump on the bandwagon if you allow us to give you more money. lol

OCTeam

Good call, Jolenta. Did you switch brokers?
You will dominate your market area with that site.

thataway61

REW Ryland,

I don't know if you can edit your comment or not, but the link to my site you placed above has a period at the end and visitors are getting a 404 page in the statcounter. Here is the correct address - http://www.gulfshoreslife.com/fort-morgan-real-estate.php

Bud

Morgan,

We want the Featured Areas Callout for www.cathymeder.com.

Also, per last evenings email (sorry I missed you) we want the snippit for foreclosures.

jolenta

Just a few days away, Drew. There's a line in my contract I don't understand and with three transactions still pending I can't walk away until I know if I'll get paid. Thanks again for your advice and encouragement about taking the plunge. I'm nervous as heck but excited for the future!

Keith Lutz

I will take 1 suckerfish at this time... thanks Morgan for this offer!

Calum

Still waiting to hear about the Control Panel.

OCTeam

Calum,
The Control Panel addition on CMS2 has:

1) A site integrated separate page password protected Control Panel where a visitor can access saved properties, searches they set up and an internal messaging system within the website.
2) An intuititive search function that auto-generates a search after a visitor views 20 properties. They can change the search within the Control Panel, or you can in lead manager. You can also add a search within lead manager.
3) The message system where you can communicate on a single subject and both view the communication and respond within that subject. The emails back and forth are within the system, not to your outlook.

IMO, the auto-generated search is the ticket. Over 50% of my visitors on my site who did not save a search on their own are now getting daily updates that have been auto-generated.

Hope that helps...

jolenta

That control panel sounds just too good to pass up.

Ryland, please add Control Panel to my CMS2 (correct me if I'm wrong but if I understand correctly, CMS2 comes with LEC2).

Jolenta

Calum

Thanks Drew! That helps a lot.

We manually enter all leads into our mls system and set them up on auto listings. We use the tracked visits to get an idea of what they are looking for. I'll have to go back and see how many people are really looking at 20 properties.

mikepannell

Calum, you do the same thing we do. It works great. Every leads has a search set up. We have over 5000 people set up right now. I have order 3 Control panels. I think it is a good thing to help my agent more then anything.

Matt Scoggins

Morgan, I just placed two separate orders, one for my ThinkLouise site and the other for my Cobb County site. I would like for the IDX I order a month or so ago with the $500 promo added to my Cobb County site work order and integrated into my site with the new template. Thanks for the great promo!

mikepannell

Rvolk75, The Discount only applys to the product above

Eddy Kicker

Morgan,

I would like to order the Control Panel.

TheRealOBX

Can the REW Blog be setup as a multi user blog?

MARK Z

Yes it can check out mine at www.markzproperties.com/blog/

Dennis Pease

James, that's listed above. Advanced XML / Html listings sitemapping

Nancy Comenitz

Morgan,

I have not forgotten you. I have been working on putting my website in your format to see if I can make it work. I know that sounds silly but there are areas I am on page 1 in Google that I do not want to loose. I need more time ( because of other committments) before I speak with you again about this. Is next week too late?

Nancy Comenitz

Dena Davis

Ok-- so Advanced XML / Html listings sitemapping regular price $500 promo rate $250

Is this the sitemap that they were talking about at the summit?

Portland Real Estate

Great promotion! I'd like suckerfish menus, control panel, and quick search. I had some questions, so I posted my request in the work order forum.

Dennis Pease

That's it Dena

Greg Leicht

Hi Morgan,

I just ordered the REW Blog on the order form. I don't know what a RSS Reader Snippet is. Do I need that componet in order to make the blog work.? Thanks for the promotion.

Nancy Comenitz

Morgan,

I just sent you a three page fax. Maybe these will all come true!

Nancy

Is there a place to preview the control panel?

Also, has my work quote been looked at yet?

Thanks

Ermmm RB you are going to need to actually identify yourself if you would like to ask specific questions about your account.

thanks

Morgan,

I want to order the control panel for my Cobb County site, but don't see it on the order form. Can you get that order placed for me?

Indy Realtor

Are the drag and drop modules included in this sale? If so, put me down for 2. Thanks.

Morgan Carey

Hmmmm Drag and drop modules - let me look into that.

MARK Z

Morgan,

How about looking into those of us that want to go with the wide template and blog? There are quite a few of us who want to do it. It's Christmas, come on Santa, I've been good this year. lol

Portland Real Estate

Let me know if the drag & drop gets added, this is also something I'm interested in.

CherryCreekPro

Same here, drag and drop is on my short list. Thanks again Morgan for this wonderful special.

Greg Haraksin

hmmmmm a special for making templates go wide. there's an interesting idea.

Dennis Pease

Hey Morgan, I want to go with the Advanced XML / Html listings sitemapping for my site.

mikepannell

Can we add this to my stuff also

Microsoft birds eye view (IDX tab) regular price $300 promo rate $150, I want 3 of them

Morgan Carey

Yeah sure, we can add drag and drop - normally $200 on for $100 - feel free to email billing @realestatewebmasters.com and reference this post if you would like it added (I would add it to the order form, but I am currently upgrading the forum software. Sorry try to do that later -

Buddy Blake

Hey Morgan, is this included with my big-dog LEC2.5 package?

Your response is fantastic, and your IDX team is "on the ball"..... I am excited to see what you guys can do... especially, at the incredible value your products are...

Morgan Carey

As for those of you who asked about "widening templates" - those are custom orders thus are not applicable to this promo (In fact our custom design team is pretty much completely sold out until January) so it's products only.

But if you want a wide template, why not just order one on the promo for $399? MarkZ for instance, wouldn't it be sweet to be running this new puppy (Already in the CB color scheme) http://comps.rewdev.com/new_templates/Coldwell%20Banker%20Inspired%20Blues.jpg

Paula Henry

What is drag and drop?

Portland Real Estate

I'll take one drag & drop order. I will add it to my existing promo work order that's in the forum once the upgrade is done.

CherryCreekPro

Morgan, thank you for inclusion of the Drag & Drop in this special. Email sent to billing and faxing CC Auth now.

Dennis Pease

Hi Ryland,

It's paid up and that is the correct website. Thanks

OCTeam

Need drag n drop on my new LEC if I did not order already, or it is not standard. I can't keep up with how much candy I put in the jar.

Morgan Carey

It's not standard in LEC's I will have it invoiced for you

thanks

MARK Z

Morgan,

Would you include the widening for my blog also for the $399, because obviously I can't go wide on my template without going wide on my blog?

Second question is if I decide to go wide, do I have to go with my exact template I have now and just widen it, or can I switch templates at that time?

I'm assuming all my suckerfish drop downs will all remain intact, I am correct in thinking that?

Greg Haraksin

drag and drop is for managing pages. correct?

and i read a post somewhere that it helped with loading time on the manage pages?

OCTeam

..helped with loading time on the manage pages?

For my CMS2, definitely a difference. I would think if you have at least several hundred sub-pages pages it would be a good thing to have if not just for ease of sorting. IMO, if reaching toward 1,000 subpages, don't enter the page manager without it.

Calum

okay, I just submitted an order form for an RSS Reader Snippet and Birds Eye View. I want the the birds eye view to replace the "Directions" call to action on our details page.

Thank You!

thataway61

Sign me up for the drag and drop menu editor and also the RSS Reader snippet.

Thanks

Gloria Singer

Morgan,

I have a whole list of what I want, but I also want to go wide with my template, so I guess these would be added after the "widening":

  • drag and drop
  • rss reader
  • suckerfish dropdowns
  • birds eye view
  • control panel
  • xml sitemapping
  • featured area callouts

If I get a new template for $399 does that basically cover the widening? I'm a little confused here. What else would I have to spend to implement that, including my IDX and blog. Also, what is the 2.0 blog? Is that what I have?

Please advise so I can get this order in and take advantage of the special.

Actually Morgan maybe I should just be looking at the LEC2 instead of continuing to add so much to my current site? What do you think?

Can you please contact me asap so we can discuss this and I can take advantage of the promo?

Thanks.

thataway61

That would be a smart move Gloria. I got a template for about a week and upgraded to a custom. I do not regret it! The LEC2 is a great package and a few of my friends just got one and are quite excited.

Gloria Singer

Thanks for the input... now I just wonder if I go to the LEC2 should I keep my current site since I have put so much into it including custom IDX and change the domain name and the content... decisions decisions

thataway61

I would do like some of my peers and focus on one site. You will be starting all over if you start a new domain. Take your aged URL and point it to the premier tool.

Carey Frankel

Hey guys, I have to post another update shortly regarding the promo being nearly sold out, just writing that now, but in the meantime for those customers who keep asking about availability of LEC's in their area - if you look at the bottom of the post, I just put together a quick Google map that will show you the areas taken for LEC 1 and LEC 2 (I probably forgot some, but I will double check in the AM)

Thanks for a great promo so far guys, we are nearly sold out - I hope you all have a great thanksgiving.

SVRPaul

Ok... throw me in for the #1 Placement for "Las Vegas Real Estate" for Google.... LOL!!

Since your staff is volounteering to earn some extra XMas bucks and you've gladly shown your generosity with the extension...

Throw me in for a new REW 2.0 blog with the RSS reader blog snippet for www.LasVegasRealEstateHome.com....

Also... I want the "do follow" capability on this like we did on the Chicago site if that's not included on the new REW 2.0 blog.

Not sure exactly what the REW 2.0 blog is but I liked the old one so I'm sure the new one is even better.

Thanks Morgan!

Get those dollars in before it crashes!!

SVRPaul

BTW --- can we implement the IDX snippets from the core IDX within the REW Blog 2.0 site when we do market reports on a particular area/subdivision in the blog??

THX!

Jonathan

What are the suckerfish dropdowns? Are they used in the IDX search pages?

Thanks

Jonathan

Sapan Behar

Hey Morgan,

Just a quick question about: Can we use the "REW Summit dollars" to pay for work done under this promo? I haven't used those up yet?

Morgan Carey

Jonathan, you can see an example of suckfish dropdowns (a screenshot) here: http://www.realestatewebmasters.com/upgrades/design-enhancements.php click on Click here to see an example of Suckerfish Drop Down Menus...

Morgan Carey

Sapan, your REW Summit dollars are as good as cash - so you should have a $499 cash credit wtih us for work, so the answer is yes.

Jonathan

Thanks! Can the suckerfish be integrated into the IDX Search criteria tabs (ie Age, Subdivision, square footage, etc)?

Morgan Carey

Jonathan - what you are describing is NOT what is offered in the promo (It applies to your main navigation, nothing to do with the IDX - if you have questions about a custom work order, please contact your salesperson (Promo would not apply to what you are describing)

Thanks

CherryCreekPro

Hi Morgan,

Do the featured callouts have an self adjustable number of columns? As my page widths vary, i.e. LEC1 default half page width and my wide hack to support my IDX, will I need a different callout for each page width, i.e. 2 columns vs 4 columns, or can I self adjust the number of columns included within the callouts?

If I need more callouts to support more columns I'd like to order more callouts under this special.

Thank you, Brian

Morgan Carey

CherryCreek - by default the featured callouts have predined columns that correspond with the "body content area" of a typical REW site - so no you couldn't change them yourself, your situation is unique in that you have non standard options for your LEC (which were custom ordered) so if you wanted callouts for each, it would mean additional labor (but there would certainly be some economy of scale there in terms of pricing)

MARK Z

Morgan,

On REW Blog 2.0 is the Multi-User function a standard feature that just comes with it?

Drew May

Hi Morgan,

Please set us up for launching:

Quick Search
Featured listings module
Microsoft birds eye view
New REW 2.0 Blog

at www.AugustaHomeStore.com that you're currentlt converting from the existing AA site. Your staff is doing a great job so far! Do you think we need anything else for now?

Thanks,

Drew

MARK Z

Morgan,

I just answered my own question by looking at this page http://www.realestatewebmasters.com/upgrades/rew-blogs.php

It looks like the multi-user function is part of the REW Blog 2.0, so what I'm wondering is about a month ago I asked to make my blog a multi-user blog and the charge was $400. I went ahead and did it. Then on that link above I see the REW Blog 2.0 is $300. So my question is why didn't someone just upgrade me to the newer REW Blog 2.0 and I would have gotten the multi-user capability along with all the benefits of having REW Blog 2.0?

Morgan Carey

Markz - I just took a look at your "mutli user blog" and it is much different than what you would get out of the box in a 2.0 blog - it looks like you have the ability to add external (non team) authors, and there is customization to the design as well (Photo's along with bios etc) what you ordered is clearly something custom, and does not come out of the box in any of our blogging technologies

What "multi user" means in the 2.0 blog technlogy, is that you can click a checkbox in the backend of "your agents" that says "is allowed to have a blog" and it gives them permission to post - I don't think the two things are the same at all.

Drew May

Morgan,

OOPS, Also please add Suckerfish dropdowns to that order as well.

www.AugustaHomeStore.com

Thanks,

Drew

MARK Z

Okay that makes sense. So could I keep the custom multi-user blog that I have and upgrade to REW Blog 2.0 for the $150 ?

Morgan Carey

No you could not - whenever we are dealing with "building" or "transferring" "Custom" work, it's always billed by the hour and nothing hourly applies to this particular promo.

MARK Z

Okay so should I get a quote in the work order forum to see how much to transfer my custom multi-user blog to REW Blog 2.0? Or do you know the answer to that?

Morgan Carey

I don't I'm sorry - I am not familiar with the extend or depth of the changes that you have made to your current blog - my suggestion would be the work orders forum - post something like:

"I would like to upgrade to the REW 2.0 blog (at promo price) and then I need an estimate for re-integrating the following items I have currently in my previous version into the the new one (and of course xfer authors and content)

Hope that helps.

Morgan Carey

Shoot I forgot to mention, you will want to list the features you want re-integrated

Morgan Carey

Drew the site is looking really good - miles ahead of your AA site.

So I have an order for the following:
Quick search
Featured Listings Module
Birds Eye
REW 2.0 Blog
Suckerfish

Awesome, thanks so much!

Do I think you need anything else? Honestly, these products are in our "common upgrades" section for a reason, because each and every one of them is a "common order" and each and every one of them is designed to enhance your visitor experience and improve the performance of your site - so shamelessly, I think you should buy em all. (But seriously, you should) -

In an ideal world, you would go with LEC 2.0 with a custom Exit color scheme as it is bar none the most robust website we have ever offered and lightyears ahead of our core products - (It's like $30,000 worth of custom design and programming for $6000) and because you also bought SEO services from us, I would be willing to credit your template / IDX purchase (That you made previous) towards your LEC purchase price - let me know if you can swing it, or would like to chat about it - that way you would already have most of this stuff built in (featured listings, suckerfish, rew 2.0 blog, RSS, quick search, control panel) are all included in the LEC 2.0 package - The end result after a custom color scheme which usually takes less than 10 hours (if you aren't already familiar with them) ends up looking like this: http://www.ryanwardrealestate.com

CherryCreekPro

Hi Morgan,

Thank you, that helps me better understand the mechanics of the callouts.

I'm thinking I may need 3 callouts in total ( 2 col, 3 col & 4 col ) to provide flexibility & serve various needs. I know we'll also need to stylize them some to fit the LEC1's default theme.

I've ordered 1 callout on this special so far & as this is a great price am OK with ordering a couple more callouts to make this work. I'll be ready to send CC Auth in tomorrow.

Thanks, Brian

Dennis Pease

Ryan's website is the best looking REW site to date IMO. Dang I wish I could do that right now. The LEC2 Rocks.

Carolyn Gjerde-Tu

Thinking I may need to add featured callouts to my LEC2? I haven't spent that much time yet on the backend but I don't see this as a snippet and thinking it is a MUST for the LEC.

Dennis, I agree, Ryan's website is AWSOME.

Drew May

Hi Morgan,

Based on your reply I'm serioulsy interested in just going for LEC2 at this point. Please give me a call and let's get it going.

Thanks,

Drew

Buddy Blake

Hey Ryland... where in the LEC #2 admin can i find the callout snippet etc for Ryan's "Atlanta Home Search... " 3x2 box ... it looks good on his site.. but can't seem to figure out how to implement it... (dev146)

Morgan Carey

Drew I just send you an email :)

Paul Kaplan

Could someone contact me or give me the email who I should contact, about setting up the IDX search on my website? Thanks and happy holidays.

Paul

Jeff Beck

Is the LEC2 deal still available, Morgan?

MLS Update

Yes - the promo is on until 4:30 PM tomorrow - would you like to order an LEC 2.0 for Jupiter?

Jeff Beck

That's the question. I know the $6k would come back to me in the next year, I'm just afraid I might need it for for something else (like food) in the meantime.

It's scary out there.

Jeff Beck

I guess I'm in.

Morgan Carey

Awesome consider it done - I will have billing send you your invoice for LEC 2 with the exclusive use for Jupiter - are we replacing your existing site (in which case no hosting needs to be billed) or is this for a new site?

I will get the answer later and send the bill now so that you can get in before the promo closes

Thanks

JEFF

I'm in Melbourne (Brevard), not jupiter.

Carlosm

Hello Morgan, I have been trying to get ahold of someone to order the LEC 2 before its to late. I filled out your form and sent you an email...Can you help with this?

BTW I talked with Ryan and he helped answer some questions regarding the LEC 2..>Great Guy to offer his time and help.

Morgan Carey

OK guys, the promotion is now over - thank you so much for everyone who ordered (And sent in their payment for order) you are all awesome, and we hope you enjoy your puchases.

Thanks again for making this the most successful REW promotion ever! Have a great holiday season and enjoy your new toys.

SVRPaul
