We're excited to announce a really cool new feature today: REW Leads 1.1 for iOS now includes Lead Reminders! Lead Reminders allow you to easily create reminders for your leads and get push notifications when they're due. Those of you who use reminders in REW Backend and REW CRM will already be familiar with this feature.

MirandaWhat would you say you do here?

As as a Squad Leader and Senior Web Designer I have a player/coach role, where I facilitate team standups, work assignments, and perform the leadership function for squad members. As a Senior Designer, I work on a wide variety of projects ranging from small customizations to full custom websites.

What’s your favourite part about your job?

I love solving problems! I especially enjoy finding elegant solutions to complex problems - whether it be a design, code, functionality, or user experience problem. I also love the fast pace environment at REW. It’s really energizing, and it’s never boring.

In one week, we will be launching the world's first website that offers a virtual reality feature set for both main page presentation and listings details pages. Truly, this is our biggest innovation in website design at REW ever and I am so excited!

My vision is this: You roll up on a listing presentation a few minutes early with a 360 / VR camera (relatively inexpensive under $1,000 for a good one)—before going in, you put down a tripod in a nice location, and you take a 360 degree photo or video.

You then upload the photo to your site using the brand new, fully responsive REW CRM along with other property details and hit save. Instantly, you have the listing added to your site and available to view even before you have landed it.

Now walk into the

seo content experimentsI've been thinking a lot about "big picture" SEO strategies, and how we can apply them to the real estate industry. To start, there's convincing evidence that page one content continues to get longer, yet each industry also has its own content trends.

Over the past couple weeks, I ran an experiment to help determine a better content baseline for the real estate industry. I looked at page one results for "[city] real estate" for 22 major cities across the United States and Canada, and recorded the amount of content on each of the top results.

This experiment gave me a better idea of what our clients' competition is doing, and helps set new content targets, based on the average number of words on top-performing pages.

The result? 1,568 words.

I recently had the pleasure of attending the Gathering of Eagles, an invitation-only conference for top executives who work within the real estate industry.
As I listened to influential speakers and leaders share their take on real estate technology, I thought about our clients, and how the current trends can make them more successful. In fact, with every trend is a lesson, and those lessons teach real estate agents how to thrive for decades to come.
