Core Values
Real Estate Webmasters has three core values: Innovation, Customer Success, and Always Be Awesome. These are what make our company extraordinary!
There is always a better way. Find it.
Innovation has been at the heart of REW for more than 22 years. We love learning, researching, inventing, and finding better ways to do things.
Innovation isn't limited to building software. It applies to everything we do. Can we save someone time? Improve performance or conversion? Increase profitability or security? Make a process more efficient? Make someone's work easier or more enjoyable? Improve the experience?
We challenge ourselves to look at what already exists and ask, "Is there a better way to do this?"
Being innovative means being curious enough to learn, creative enough to imagine something better, and thoughtful enough to determine whether an idea will actually make a meaningful difference.
We don't innovate for attention or simply to say we were first. We innovate to create real value. There is tremendous satisfaction in researching something deeply, building something better, teaching others how to use it, and watching them succeed because of it.
Learn. Question. Invent. Improve. Teach. Repeat.
Focus on their success, and your success will follow.
Customer success has always meant more to us than delivering what someone paid for. It means understanding what success looks like to the person we're helping and genuinely caring about helping them achieve it.
We teach. We share what we know. We give good advice even when there is nothing immediately in it for us. We focus on what matters to the customer rather than what is easiest or most beneficial for ourselves. We believe that if we help enough people become successful, our own success will follow.
That same philosophy applies inside REW. Every day, our coworkers, leaders, direct reports, and other departments depend on us to help them succeed. When someone inside REW needs something from us, we should bring the same service mindset we bring to our customers: "What does success look like for them, and how can I help?"
This requires humility. We value people who earn trust through their actions, follow through on their commitments, share what they know, and use their talents to make the people around them more successful. Great individual performance matters, but the greatest contribution is one that helps the whole team succeed.
Be someone others can rely on. Earn their trust. Care about what matters to them. Help them succeed.
You can't control every situation. You can control how you show up.
Always Be Awesome is not about being perfect, endlessly positive, or pretending difficult things aren't difficult. It's about intentionally choosing how we respond to whatever is in front of us.
In any interaction, we can ask ourselves: "How can I be awesome in this moment?" And afterward: "Was I my most awesome self? Could I have been more awesome?"
Some days your best might be a 10 out of 10. Other days it might be a 1. Being awesome means bringing the best version of yourself that you reasonably can that day—not demanding perfection from yourself or anyone else.
We default positive. We choose kindness, patience, compassion, forgiveness, and understanding whenever we can. We remember that we rarely know everything happening in another person's life, and their behaviour or energy may have very little to do with us.
Most importantly, being awesome means being trustworthy. The people who interact with us—customers, coworkers, partners, friends, and family—should come away believing: "That's someone I can trust."
Be kind. Be accountable. Give people grace. Do your best.
Always Be Awesome.
