A little bird told me that the Calendar on the CRM will be connected and able to sync with Google Calendar. I have found myself using the link to the calendar that lives under “My Setup”. I believe that a link to the calendar on the top left, right next to CRM - Leads - Agents - Deals - Sources. Would be very beneficial… Anyone else shares the same opinion?

In terms of UI (user interface) we do have a hierarchy of navigation so that as the software expands customers can understand the process of drilling down to access tools and the like
The top left nav for instance is reserved for major parts of the software (things that contain several sub elements, tools within) like Deals, Sources, Agents etc
The calendar (while important) is a sub-element or tool - so it wouldn’t make sense to put it there however it doesn’t mean a quick link to the calendar somewhere doesn’t make sense.
For example - we could put it in the hamburger menu as a link or icon.
Or speaking of links, here’s an interesting idea - what about having a “quick links” section that admins could actually customize / modify, that way each user could create their own set of “favourites” or “bookmarks” and then for those (For example) who love the Calendar and use it a lot, it’s one click away, while others might have different favourite tools and they could decide themselves what is most valuable to them.
Thoughts?
