CRM Roadmap - What's next for REW Customer Relationship Management?

I promised to start this thread once the new REW CRM had launched, and it has!

So now it’s time to talk about the roadmap (short, medium and long term) and what you’d love to see in future versions.

This is where you tell us what you love about other CRM features you’ve seen. (Inside or outside of real estate)

Make sure you explain in detail what the feature does, but more importantly WHY it is valuable and necessary for all Realtors to have in their CRM.

I’m going to start by discussing what is already in the Q4 build, so that we can also discuss those features as well

Main priorirites:

Our two big build features for Q4 (not this release but next major one this year)

Integrated GMAIL! I have already seen the prototype and we have tested this feature. Now it’s just down to building it into the UI and making sure it works well for our users.

What is it? This is a two way data sync with your gmail account. You can now send AND receive emails via the CRM after linking your REW CRM and Gmail together. Emails are stored in history in the CRM for quick access and you can use the integrated features of CRM such as listings embed and form letters for an extremely powerful email experience. Estimated timeline end of Q4

All lead sources from everywhere! This is a popular request. We already get leads from some places (like Zillow etc) but our customers want flexibility to have all lead sources from any popular site (or even obscure ones) the way this is built is we generate a special listening email box for you so that any time an email goes to that inbox (which you have shared with your lead sources) the leads are automatically parsed directly into the CRM. If the lead source is one we recognize we also add it into groups for you (example Zillow leads go into the Zillow Group) so they can be searched and reported on.

We’re also working on:

Lone Wolf Integration - this one should be done next month I’m hoping. For those who use Lone Wolf’s transaction management product, you should now be able to SSO with Lone Wolf and begin a transaction right in the console. It then sends you over to Lone Wolf to complete that transaction.

Adoption Engine Phase 2 - You haven’t even likely seen the adoption engine yet because it’s brand new, but we’re already working on Phase 2! This is a second ring of tasks that show up after you complete your first prescribed tasks. Check out this mockup for demo. (Phase 1 btw is complete and shipping this month and includes the first ring)

CRM, CMS, Listings in any language (coming 2020) This is part of our building the new international MLS system. Prototypes are already complete showcasing the translation functionality for our backend. We’re working on the plumbing now for listings part so that we can build a true (RESO compliant) MLS System.

That is just a sample of what we’re working on, and I’m happy to discuss, answer any questions and hear your suggestions. But just as importantly, I want to hear from YOU!

Ok been using it for a while now and I REALLY need:

Smart searches: Need to have quick searches for leads (we have too many leads) we’ll put them top left @lisamoore

Settings for default view. When you first click the CRM button, what is the default load? (I want to be able to pre-set a search so that whenever we come back, that is what is there. Example - just leads from the last 7 days that I have not contacted yet. (basically just define a primary or default search) should be able to be any search.

Texting Auto responders. Are we allowed to do this in CANSPAM? If so, would love to do it for texting module. And of course blast texting would be great too!

I think due to the overwhelming amount of leads that these awesome sites generate (PPC or Organic) smart tags are imperative for managing the flow over time… with a 2-4yr purchasing timeline with leads, it helps to have tagging, not only to keep track of leads but what they are interested in ie: a specific type of property/condo/townhouse incl bedrooms and then locations in your area. With tagging we have multiple opportunities to reach out to clients on specific new listings that are generated every day.

We are having incredible conversion with texting new leads…with the proper scripts our leads are converting with specific criteria through text communication.

I need to pick your brain on texting scripts :slight_smile:

On the tagging topic: What do you mean by “smart tags” and how are they different from Groups?

It would be nice to have the crm notify you if someone has viewed a propery X# of times - agents could set the number where they would like to be notified.

VIEW CONTACT HISTORY ACROSS COMPANY/TEAMS. One of our biggest issues is being able to view communication with a specific contact by others. When a Managing Partner communicates with an Agent’s contact, the agent cannot see the history. The quote for a custom fix was $1,600. This seems like an obvious tool capability. Thanks. Can you clarify what you mean by “when a managing partner communicates with a client” are they using the CRM? Using the send email, or text functions?

When will we be seeing the new CRM if we have an existing Discover site/CRM?

Like with Facebook you can target a postal code in their ads and in FUB a leads search captures the postal code as a tag so you can batch email tags by postal code for leads interested in properties in that postal code. You can then target those postal codes in your FB ads.
REW groups require setup while FUB tags are automatic.
I havent used the new CRM yet but i like that when sending an email you can drop in the MLS listing so the client is understanding which property you are addressing. But i find it confusing on mobile when an inquiry is made as to which property they are inquiring about.
one of the main reasons i use both REW and FUB is they both offer different ways to engage and I am hoping REW CRM will allow for better ways to engage. Can a leads email be searched through to their Social Media for remarketing audience purposes? Just asking?

Agree with Derek. Another thing would be to see ALL the pages that a person viewed. This could help with determining the leads with the most intent to work with a company. For instance if a lead looked at the About Us page and Client Testimonials page that would show intent.

Hi Joe, currently lead emails cannot be searched through to their social media for remarketing purposes but I understand what you’re looking to do so will add this to our list for the team to review! I will also look into the mobile experience when an inquiry is made and follow up with you with any clarifying questions.

RE gmail integration - that sounds great! Would be really nice if reminders that have a time & date could be displayed on my gmail calendar. Maybe a ‘check to add to my gmail calendar’ option? I’d also LOVE to be able to share a contact from my REW acct to my gmail contacts & vice versa.

Last long shot request. We’d LOVE to be able to view our text messages with a client along with email in the REW lead system. Would be so helpful to see all types of communication in one place. I know this is a bunch of systems so probably a long shot but would be amazing!
