Sunsetting Inactive Saved Searches

Hi all - is there a way to easily view and sunset any saved searches in REW that have been inactive for a certain amount of time - for example, if a customer hasn’t opened an email in the last 12 months from a saved search, is there a way to pull that data and then sunset those saved searches easily?

Hi Jen! We don’t have that functionality just yet, but it’s definitely on our radar. I’ll make sure to share it with our R&D team and I’ll keep you posted when there’s an update!

@Mheanne Thanks for the response. If there is no way for us to sunset saved searches based on when someone has last opened a saved search email, then are we able to batch remove saved searches for people that have not visited in xx amount of time?

Hi @JenDurben! While you can filter out inactive leads and individually unsubscribe them from saved searches, the current version doesn’t have a bulk or mass unsubscribe action. This is the first time I see this use case, I’d love to bring this up on our R&D sessions, would you mind sharing a few reasons why this would be an important feature for you? Are you trying to reduce costs, improve your sender reputation, or maybe something else?

Ok - forgive me as I’m slowing getting back into it. I am trying to update a saved search for one of my clients and at first glance it’s asking me to make “another saved search”. I want to change the current one they have or delete and re-do it. How do I do this? Thanks!

Hi @Carly! I’d be happy to help, you can do this by going to your client’s lead details page in the backend and scroll down to the Searches panel, from there you will be able to see the existing searches, each will have an edit and delete button, and you will also see a + Saved Search button which will allow you to create a new one from scratch, let me know how it goes!

@FernandoOrtiz Hi there - I missed your response back in the original thread. Yes, really both of those reasons - looking to reduce the amount of inactive emails being sent with no activity, improving both cost efficiency and sender reputation.
