Currently the only way to have an image show up for the blog preview on our homepage is to upload a header image, but I think this makes the actual blog look silly. Wouldn’t it make more sense for that image to be the “preview image” instead of the header image? I like the solid color background with the blog headline as I think its easier to read, but then I lose the preview image which shows the default rodeo drive image.
Actually completely agree (I think I changed this custom on www.carlcarey.com) - @Rebecca if this isn’t on the backlog already, please make it so.
“Preview image” is for exactly that (it’s not on the blog itself) it’s for snippets, and the like - whereas header is a specific function (do I want a hero image on the blog y / n?)
Let’s make sure this gets done for next release

Yes this was fixed in our latest release (version 24.8), the preview image is a separate image that will show on the blog snippets.
