Hello all,
We have quite a few RSVP’s for tomorrow’s coaching call (many are first timers), so I thought I’d provide the structure of my coaching calls so that new members can get the most out of their experience and also hit the ground running in terms of participation.
Pro tip, make sure you have an REW forum account created so that you can provide product feedback as well. Your AM can set one of for you if you do not have one.
Ok, so below I’m posting the full doc, but I’m also going to pull out some highlights with some comments / tips on participation:
Starting with wins: Real estate is tough (and can be lonely/discouraging sometimes). the reason we start with wins is to ensure we set a positive tone. We are here to learn, get better and encourage each other / build community. It’s also a great way to get motivation if you’ve not been finding success. When you see others making apts and closing deals, it encourages you to keep learning / growing so you can too!
Accountability: This is the missing piece for most agents (even if they are on a team) - they are their own boss and have lost the accountability that came with a more structured career (or perhaps they have never had it). We ask our agents on the call to volunteer to have us review their CRM activities on the actual call. This allows me to help that individual improve “specific” portions of their CRM game while teaching the group those same techniques.
But there is an extra benefit here: If you know your performance is going to be on display, you are more likely to work hard to make sure you are doing what needs to be done.
I have one rule - if you volunteer your CRM for audit, you cannot make any excuses or try to explain away any lack of performance. We acknowledge our gaps and commit to the steps it will take to get better in our next audit.
Feature showcase - this part is obvious. I pick a feature (smart lists, deals, sources, details) and we do a deep dive, making sure everyone knows how to use that feature as it was designed.
Then we go onto R & D Roadmap and Q & A.
Our goal here is to build a community around CRM usage. You have access to the CEO of the company that develops your CRM product so that you can learn the “why” behind feature development.
By having group coaching, we make connections and learn from the group. You’ll make great real estate connections true, but ideally you’ll also build some personal connections and even friendships.
It’s a tough game (especially right now) and we are all stronger when we work together.
Hope that gives some insights into the coaching - I’m going to email this thread out to everyone signed up tomorrow.
Feel free to volunteer tomorrow if you want your CRM reviewed (remember, we all start somewhere, and we learn more from a CRM with opportunity for growth than we do from someone doing everything perfect - so don’t be shy, raise your hand!) I promise you, if it’s your CRM we are reviewing, you will get better. Faster.

Today’s call:
Intro: Positive Share Ask the group to share something positive from their week:
Any wins? 5 Mins
Wins are important to set a positive tone for the meeting and help motivate other agents who may be new or struggling to succeed that week to stay diligent with their CRM activities, knowing that the next call might be a great one.
Great conversations with a lead?
Booked an appointment?
Working with a client?
Writing a deal?
Accountability (5 minutes). Review an agent’s week. We always have examples from our team for accountability, however, it is important that other attendees on the call also participate in the accountability portion. There will be a call-out for volunteers for an activities audit.
Rules for accountability:
#1: We do not make excuses or attempt to “explain” why we did not meet our commitments. If we did not meet our commitments, we own that we did not.
#2: We must restate our goals to the group
#3: We must share what we are willing to do to meet our commitments for the following week and going forward.
Feature Covered: 10-15 minutes
Each week, we will review a critical feature of the system (examples smart lists, query engine, lead details, automation, deals, etc)
News / Updates (5 minutes, if any)
Every 60 days or less REW releases new features/updates to the CRM. A benefit of being in training is that agents can get a sneak peek / give early feedback on new features. Cover getting involved, roadmap/forums.
Q & A
The floor is open for “REW CRM” and “lead conversion/follow-up” questions. It can be easy to go off-topic and ask about non-CRM / conversion topics, We ask you to keep it to our topic so that everyone on the call can benefit from the conversation.
