Happy Tuesday everyone! As always the Product Delivery Team has been working hard behind the scenes, fixing bugs and improving the CRM, to make sure you get the best Renaissance and CRM experience. Here are a few things we have been working on and will be releasing today.
Small Product improvements
- Add page name to homepage so that we can change the anchor text of “home”
We have added a link name option to homepage content pages in the CRM, this will change the breadcrumb name. Previously the breadcrumb name for homepages was default ‘Home’ and couldn’t be changed.
Ability to add code within the tag of home, pages and blog posts
Within the CMS, when adding content, there is a new textarea to include “Head Section” code:
This is a new field added within the CMS home page, CMS pages, and Blog posts and categories.
This is a SEO practice and if certain scripts are added in the head section it provides more ‘metadata for that page’ improving the SEO scores.
- Rename “Transactions” to “Deals” across CRM
Have changed the wording of Transactions to Deals in the Lead page. This is to remain consistent and keep in line with a new future Deal functionality in CRM. You can add a Deal if the Lead has purchased, sold or leases a property.
- Make sure we don’t permanently delete deals data
This is more of a backend improvement and is to make sure we don’t delete any historic Deals data. As we will be releasing a new future Deals functionality in the CRM and provide reporting on the history of Deals.
- Add no-follow to all realestatewebmasters.com links
Another backend improvement to improve SEO rankings we were asked to add a no-follow tag to all realestatewebmasters.com links.
- Allow user to request to have their own data deleted
We have users the option to request to have their account deleted along with all of their collected data. This is to make sure we comply with CCPA and GDPR data regulation standards. This is located for the user in My Dashboard> My Preferences.
The user can select delete my account and a modal will appear, making sure the user is aware that this will permanently delete their account.
This will then trigger an automatic email to the Admin of the site, that this user has requested to have their account removed and their data deleted. The Admin can then go to the Leads Details Page and select Delete Lead.
This release mostly includes lots of under-the-hood bug fixes, security updates, and product hardening tasks.
