I am organizing my new site and looking for how to feature listings. It seems that this is not a feature anymore. Was it replaced with something?
Are you talking about IDX listing or CMS listings? Both are default features.
Example CMS listings just use #cms-listings#
I’m talking about idx listings that I upload. I don’t think I know what a cms listing is.
Good morning. I think there’s some confusion on what I’m looking for.
I want to be able to feature listings like I was able to in previous sites from REW.
There used to be a featured listings snippet that would showcase these listings on the homepage and link to a featured listings page. The ability to mark a listing as a featured seems to be missing.

Hello all, sorry for the delay in reply.
There is a couple of ways to do this:
You can add listings via the #cms-listings# snippet (for manually added listings)
Or you can add a listing to “enhanced” augment them and feature them.
To enhance (in essence feature it) you go here in the backend /backend/listings/enhanced/
If you don’t want to enhance listings, you can also just create a snippet based on agent or office ID.
Thanks for that explanation. In essence, I’m trying to get back to having a featured properties page to drive more traffic to the listings that are great deals or more beneficial for us to promote. I also wanted to have a “featured listings” snippet for the home page that would display a few of these properties. My previous site had this functionality.
My featured properties always got more traffic than non featured properties.
To expand on this. I want to have a section on the homepage that rotates through some of the featured listings and I want to create a page that has the complete list of the featured listings. I do not see how to accomplish this with the enhanced listings. Besides that and in my opinion, the enhanced listings do not present as well as the standard listings. There’s no gallery view option.

I would like to see something along those lines if at all possible!

I have added a listing as enhanced. Where does it show up on the site? My current site shows at the bottom of each page. Thanks
I agree with @PuertoRealty on this. Would be nice to see Gallery View added as an Option for enhanced listings, it does look better and I think user experience is better. Unless you upload higher resolution images, the Slideshow images are poor resolution on desktop from IDX feed.
I’m helping to move our company to Renaissance and we also want Gallery View. Hope this is in the works.
