REW CRM Automation - Phase 2 ideas

Hi everyone!

We’re getting ready to move into the phase 2 of automations and we’ve been brainstorming a few ideas and would love some feedback!

Triggers:

  • Lead Registers
  • Form Submission - with a form selector that includes all REW forms
  • Scheduled Date
  • Adding IDX search criteria to these existing triggers:
    • Property viewed
    • Property saved
    • Property inquired options
  • Deal Created
  • Lead Status Change (pending, accepted, rejected, closed, unassigned)

Conditions

  • Last Touch
  • Last Active - useful if looking for stale vs reengaging leads

Actions

  • Add to Group - really useful for automatically adding leads to campaigns
  • Add to Pool
  • Add Tag - not sure if motivations and interests would be useful too
  • Push Notification - this could allow users to create their own custom push notifications!

What do you guys think? Are there any other triggers, conditions, or actions that could be useful? As agents what are some of the daily tasks that you would like to automate, please share your ideas!

Would like ability to post Blog automations

Hi @Paul! Could you elaborate on that?

working on generating multiple blog posts and would like to post them automatically

Hello Paul,

While automations is focused primarily on the “CRM” (measuring visitor interactions and activities and taking actions based on those activities) you might be able to do what you’re looking for by simply choosing dates in the future when writing your posts.

Fernando, is this correct? (blogs won’t show until the publish date if you choose a date in the future?) If not, that’s not really an automation but could be a win for people who want to write many blogs during one session but want them to post at later dates.

Yes! that’s correct, the posts can be published using future dates and they become available on the given date!

One thing to note is that if the user is logged in to the CRM and looking at the blog post on the frontend site, the post becomes visible which could be misleading users into thinking it has been posted. This is to allow users to view their posts before publishing them, but the system will hide them from regular users until the published date arrives.

For example, here I’m logged in as super admin and I can see my post, even though it’s not published:

However, if a regular user had the link, this is what they would see:

Glad to finally have a scheduler, thank you!

Love the direction of these!

Triggers:

  • What about changes to custom fields as a trigger? I know some users might not use the lead status field. I don’t personally use it nor do I use the lead stage. Stages to me is where they are in their journey. I know some people use tags for this but some may use a custom field.
  • what about saved search? Saved property is great but triggering an action based on a saved search would be awesome!

Love the new conditions. Last active is perfect for engaging stale leads.

Love the new actions too! Keep it up guys.

Interesting, we already support date-type custom fields as triggers, I think we could explore adding the other types too!

That’s a really good one!

Some of these were your suggestions, so thank you for your feedback!
