Hey everyone!
We just published a new blog post about the role landing pages play in your PPC campaigns. When people think of PPC, they usually focus on bidding and keywords, which are definitely important, but landing pages often become an afterthought. That’s why I wanted to take a moment to highlight why they matter so much. If you’re interested to learn about the other key aspects of PPC, we have a lot of informative articles on our Resources page!
But back to landing pages, this is where conversion happens (submitting a form, subscribing, etc.). Your ad’s job is to grab attention, but it’s the landing page that needs to convert that interest into action. In our blog, we cover:
- What makes an effective landing page
- The importance of user intent
- Matching your PPC ad and landing page
- Monitoring and optimizing with Google Ads
- Common mistakes to avoid
It’s extremely important that your landing page delivers on your ad’s promise. If your ad promotes waterfront homes in Nanaimo, then your landing page should be all about that (no unrelated info, no distractions). Otherwise, visitors will bounce before you get a chance to connect.
Another tip, make sure to display your latest listings first on your landing page so visitors know that you’re the best source of the most updated properties. Don’t forget to also do A/B testing to optimize your landing page and make changes when needed. Check out our PPC Landing Page blog post for more tips and best practices.
If you’re running your own PPC ads and your landing page is working well, feel free to share below. I’m always happy to learn from each other!
