I keep forgetting to mention this. I always reduce/compress my photos I upload to my blog, but recently it appears that the editor accepts the photo at the size it should be, but then it changes it to around double the size I uploaded.
I don’t remember when this started happening, but it wasn’t doing this before.
Hi @judyorr! How are you compressing your photos and which image uploader from the blog is causing this issue for you?
I either compress them in Canva or I use ShortPixel. In the past, it showed the size I uploaded the compressed photo at - now it at least doubles it once uploaded by using the only photo uploader I have on my Renaissance site.
Hey @FernandoOrtiz! There was a bit of confusion around the upload speed rather than the file size, but I’ve connected with Judy and it’s all cleared up now.
