The holidays are always a time to give back, and one program is especially close to our hearts: Christmas Angels. For the past couple of years, Real Estate Webmasters has partnered with Volunteer Nanaimo to spread more love and joy to families in need in Nanaimo, BC. Join us in making this year’s Christmas Angels extra special, and together, let’s make this coming holiday brighter and more meaningful.

What is Christmas Angels?

Christmas Angels, formerly known as Secret Santa, is a program initiated by Volunteer Nanaimo to help families facing tough times enjoy the Christmas season. Volunteers fulfill the wish list of the families and make sure that they don’t miss out on the joy of receiving presents.

Long-Standing Partnership

Our CEO, Morgan Carey, knows firsthand how a little kindness can go a long way. He shares his humble beginnings and what it was like to spend Christmas without presents or big family gatherings. One year, strangers showed up at his door with a full Christmas dinner and gifts for him and his siblings. That memory stuck with him, which is why Christmas Angels has a special place in his heart. The entire Real Estate Webmasters team also supports this program by donating, and volunteering to participate in the Christmas shopping and gift wrapping. They gather for a couple of days to go on special shopping trips and make sure that each item in the wishlists are bought. Then, the team wraps the gifts meticulously with care and thoughtfulness, and even have friendly competitions on who can wrap the best looking present. This day is always filled with laughter, teamwork, and good memories for everyone involved.

How You Can Help

Christmas Angels is powered by the amazing volunteers who shop, wrap, and deliver presents so kids can experience a joyful and magical Christmas that every child deserves. It’s about giving back to the community, spreading love, and giving parents a moment of relief and hope.

This year, we invite you to be a part of this heartwarming initiative. Morgan and Real Estate Webmasters are kicking things off with a $5,000 donation, but we also need your help. Whether you can chip in a few dollars to buy a gift, volunteer to shop or wrap, or just help spread the word, every little bit counts. Every act of kindness makes an impact.

If you're able to donate, please send an e-transfer to vnanaimo@gmail.com (Volunteer Nanaimo) and feel free to request a tax receipt if you'd like. To volunteer, reach out to Real Estate Webmasters' social media account and comment "I'll help" on any of our Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, or X Christmas Angels posts, or directly on Morgan's Facebook post. You can also comment “I’ve donated” if you’ve contributed, or “I’ll try” if you’re not yet sure. This will not only help us determine which platform will help us reach more people, but it's also a great way to increase the program's visibility.
