Christmas has come early!
We're extremely excited about the upcoming Real Estate Webmasters product release, set to roll out just in time for the holidays.
In addition to new lead export functionality in REW CRM, this update comes with several big upgrades to Discover that we know you're going to love.
Let's dive right in.
What's New with Discover?
IDX Snippet Improvements
Discover IDX snippets have been updated to provide the capability to build new snippet panels and create more sorting options.
Additional IDX Snippet Panels
You can now make IDX snippets on Discover using additional IDX panels. This allows you to make community or property type pages that are as specific as your IDX will let you.
For long-time REW customers, this is a known and loved feature that has been added to Discover.
The list of panels available are:
Property Type, Price Range, Polygon Search, Radius Search, Search in Bounds, Location, City, Subdivision, Zip Code, Area, County, MLS® Number, Address, Property Sub-Type, Listing Status, Reduced Price, Rooms, Bedrooms, Bathrooms, Property Size, Lot Size, Year Built, Elementary School, Middle School, High School, Days on Market, Days on Website, Waterfront, Foreclosures, Short Sales, Property Features, Search by Office, Search by Office ID, Search by Agent, Search by Agent ID, and Drive Time.
Important note: The types of panels displayed in your CRM are unique to your MLS feed(s).
New IDX Snippet Sorting Options
IDX snippets now have four sorting options. Site administrators can set the default sort order for each individual snippet, and the site visitor is also able to re-sort each snippet.
The following sort criteria are now available:
- Highest first
- Lowest first
- Newest first
- Oldest first
Map Search Improvements
Discover was the first hybrid map search platform widely available for agents, teams, and brokers. Now, the map search experience is even better.
Property Previews on Map Search
Property previews on the hybrid map search have been enhanced for quick and easy viewing of key property stats.
When hovering over a listing card on the map, the preview now displays a larger thumbnail image and key information about the property's price, beds and baths, and square footage.
Set Centerpoint and Zoom Level on Default Map Search
Site administrators can set the default zoom and center point of a visitor's default IDX search.
When editing your default search in the backend, simply move the map and zoom level and click on "Set Centerpoint and zoom" and a marker icon will be placed on the map. This will then act as the centerpoint on the default map.
Set Polygons on Default Searches
Default search locations can be precisely defined now. On the hybrid map, your site visitors will also be able to set map defaults using the polygon tool.

Redesigned Listing Photo Gallery
Design improvements have been made to both the desktop and mobile property details photo galleries to prominently showcase each property photograph in the gallery.
On Desktop
This update highlights the center image of the property details page photo gallery, making it stand out from its neighboring images. This ensures sure listing photos of any size are displayed beautifully, without distraction or clutter.
On Mobile
The property details photo gallery has also been updated on mobile. The mobile gallery has been redesigned to show the entire IDX image without any clipping, creating a consistent viewing experience regardless of differing image sizes.
Other Property Detail Page Improvements
We're not done yet!
New Dynamic Map Options on Property Detail Pages
You now have more control over how maps are displayed on property details pages. This gives you the ability to effectively manage your Google Maps API usage and select the appropriate type of map search experience for your visitors.
Site administrators may choose between three map display options on property details pages. The available settings are:
- Auto Load Maps: Automatically load the map
- Manually Load Maps: Load the map upon visitor-triggered click
- Hide Maps: Exclude the map from display
Embedded Maps Option on Property Detail Pages
Discover now offers an additional map type on property detail pages that displays basic Google Maps free of charge.
The "Embedded Maps" option lets you embed a map with a pin at the property's location. Added functionalities like Streetview and Bird's Eye View are not included with this option.
Similar Properties
Discover will now show similar properties at the bottom of all property detail pages, making it easier for site visitors to find properties they love.
REW CRM Update
Export Specific Leads
